Khuda Hafiz Rafiq:
Mainly the name of the movie is "Khuda Hafiz Rafiq" meaning goodby my friend. It includes three short stories and every story is worth watching. these must be true stories related to the Iran-Iraq war. All the stories are so emotional and spiritual. No story lasts more than 25 Minutes but when you watch these short stories you will feel something deep down inside. The background music in every story is so touchy and emotional. One can not get enough after watching it over and over again. It is a magnificent piece of art. That is why Iran is called the land of emotion and feelings! it is a real gem to watch. I bet it will make you cry!
Bacha Aur Farishta:
It's another movie based on war. when war gets into the city of "Khurram" and people come out for their self-defense, a boy comes out to fight and loses all the family except his sister in a bomb blast. The rest of the movie is based on survival and helping the soldiers during the war. Her sister becomes so worried about his brother and she keeps looking for his brother. If you are softhearted that movie will make you cry at the end.
Gold and Copper:
Another masterpiece of Iranian cinema. This movie really depicts that how and husband and wife are two bodies and one soul. Sayed Reza who has recently come to Tehran with his family finds out about the illness of his wife Zahra and has to change his way of living to provide for the costs of her treatment. It's a very heart-touching movie. It reflects how the perfect couple should be. The true struggle of a married couple. It is about a young married couple that must come to terms with a devastating personal tragedy.
Hayat:
This movie is based on the struggle of a young girl named Hayat. She is very keen and devoted to her studies. On her exam day, her father gets sick and her mother has to take him to the hospital. The mother asks her to take care of her sister and brother. The rest of the story is all about how she manages to take care of her exams and siblings. It's a magnificent piece of art.
Baran:
This movie is a masterpiece of Iranian cinema. Baran is a gentle film with a dramatic punch. Baran" is a simple, human, beautiful, touching, wonderful story. Exposing the situation of the Afghan refugees in Iran, Latif a boy who fell in love with a young girl. The story plot centralizes around young Lateef, a seventeen-year-old, who one day meets an Afghan worker named Rehmat. Rehmat takes the place of his father at a construction site in the city, and for a while, Latif treats him cruelly. Until one day, he realizes that Rehmat is truly Baran. He begins to fall in love with her. Hossein Abedini and Zahra Bahrami stars. Worth watching!
